Ethiopia Guji Gogogu Washed
Sourced from the Kofele district of Guji, Ethiopia, this vibrant washed coffee represents the hard work of over 700 smallholder farmers who deliver fresh cherries to the local Gogogu washing station. Grown at a soaring 2,150 meters above sea level in nutrient-rich, red-brown clay soil, coffee is the primary livelihood for this community and is often grown harmoniously alongside daily food crops.
Processed using traditional Ethiopian methods and pristine local spring water, the cherries are meticulously sorted and dried on raised beds. The resulting cup is incredibly sweet and floral, shining with bright, complex notes.
Notes of honey, bergamot, lemon cake.
