Grown in the Bombe village of Ethiopia’s renowned Sidama region, this washed coffee reflects the delicate and refined side of Ethiopian terroir. Smallholder farmers cultivate heirloom varieties in the highlands, where cool temperatures and rich volcanic soils help develop the coffee’s distinct sweetness and floral complexity.
Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, then washed and fermented in fresh mountain water before being dried on raised beds, a traditional process that preserves clarity and brightness in the cup.
Expect a lively, tea-like body with notes of jasmine tea, dried apricot, and honeycomb, offering a cup that’s elegant, balanced, and unmistakably Ethiopian.
